Explanations of Finish Types w/ Examples

SOLID
Any non-transparent powder coat covering the entire component.

TRANSPARENT
Any transparent powder coat covering the entire component.
**Only applicable for use on Contrast Cut wheels**

Additional Notes:

• If the original component color is satin and the transparent powder is gloss, the component will be gloss after adding powder and vice versa.
• Since all surfaces will be tinted in the transparent color, the black surfaces will show the transparent color more at certain angles / in certain lighting.
• Recommended for use on Black Contrast Cut Wheels Only.
• Recommended as a less expensive alternative to Accent so long as you are NOT looking to color match.
  
  

ACCENT
Any NON-Transparent powder coat covering only the design details. (Two Tone)

Additional Notes:

• Recommended for use on non-Contrast Cut wheels only. It "is" possible to do on contrast cut wheels, however there's a possibility of slivers of the machined surfaces being exposed.
• Recommended for use when you want a two tone look AND color match.
• If the color requires more than 1 stage, the entire component will be sprayed with the same clear.
• Logos on Beadlock Rings will retain their original look due to being laser etched. There isn't enough depth to mask them for a two tone finish. (See Example 2 & 3)
