Shopify Collective Retailer Instructions
Welcome to the Metal FX Shopify Collective program.
This guide explains how to sell Metal FX wheels on your store, how order fulfillment works, and what to do if you already have inventory.
Our goal is to make it easy for retailers to sell Metal FX wheels without needing to stock inventory.
How Orders Work
When a customer purchases Metal FX wheels from your website through Shopify Collective, the order flows automatically through the system.
Order process:

Customer places an order on your website

The order is automatically sent to Metal FX through Shopify Collective

Metal FX fulfills the order and ships directly to the customer
-
Tracking information is automatically sent back to your Shopify store

Your customer receives the order normally
You do not need to manually place orders with Metal FX for Collective products.
If You Already Have Inventory
If you have Metal FX wheels in stock and would prefer to ship the order yourself, you can override the fulfillment request.
To ship the order yourself:

Open the order in Shopify
-
Cancel the fulfillment request sent to Metal FX

Fulfill the order from your own inventory
-
Add tracking information
This allows you to ship locally if you already have the product available.
Shipping
Metal FX offers different shipping structures depending on dealer tier.
Current structure:
30% Margin Dealers

Free shipping from Metal FX
35% and 40% Margin Dealers

Shipping calculated at checkout
Important:
Shipping charged to your customer is controlled by your store's shipping settings.
If you want your customers to see free shipping, you may need to create a free shipping rule in your Shopify shipping settings.
Product Listings
When you import Metal FX products through Shopify Collective, the product listings will automatically include:

Product images

Product descriptions
-
Wheel sizes
-
Bolt patterns
-
Product specifications
You may edit the product page on your store if needed.
Fulfillment Times
Metal FX ships orders as quickly as possible once fulfillment requests are received.
Typical fulfillment timeline:
Tracking information will automatically update in your Shopify order.
Retail Pricing
Metal FX maintains consistent retail pricing across all retailers.
We recommend maintaining the standard retail price to keep pricing consistent across the market.
